Task/Position Title: Meals on wheels drivers
This is an ongoing position, requiring a minimum commitment of duration.
Time commitment of one hour per week.
Volunteer age range over 18.
Volunteer Job Description
Pick up meals at the Montrose or Olathe Senior Center and deliver to local homebound seniors. The task normally requires about 45 minutes. Criminal background checks and drivers license check are required and paid for by VOA.
Skills/abilities desired
Must enjoy the elderly and have a dependable vehicle. Deliver approx. 5-8 meals per route. Drivers are needed for regular routes and to help fill in as needed.
