The Montrose Community Foundation will announce the recipients of the current competitive cycle during the week of December 13. The Board of Directors would like to extend our sincere appreciation to the organizations for preparing requests from the Foundation. The Foundation has provided local granting monies to the community for more than twenty years.

Strategic Planning Q&A on December 1

Nonprofit organizations are invited to a brown bag workshop on Wednesday, December 1 from 12:00-1:30 at the Montrose Library. The topic will be “Strategic Planning” and you are encouraged to bring your questions and planning concerns to this free session. This workshop is part of a comprehensive three-year curriculum that seeks to expand the capacity of local nonprofit organizations. “Help for Hard Times” Returns January 21

In response to the very real needs in our community, the Foundation in partnership with numerous other organizations is again sponsoring a Community Resource Fair on Friday, January 21 from 9:00-4:00 at the Montrose Pavilion. Individuals in need can visit with over 50 basic human needs service providers and attend relevant workshops throughout the day. Nonprofit Before Hours: January 18

The next Nonprofit Before Hours will be Tuesday, January 18 from 7:00-9:00 a.m. at the Montrose Library. Cost is $5 and includes a light breakfast. These monthly gatherings are sponsored by the Foundation and the Montrose Library to provide opportunities for those involved or interested in the nonprofit community to network and share information.
