The Montrose Community Foundation believes in giving and provides numerous opportunities to connect philanthropists with worthwhile community causes.  The potential to give is truly within us all!

The possibilities are many . . . .

• Visit our Component Funds section to learn more about contributing to a specific fund.
• Learn more about creating a lasting legacy through the Forever Fund or endowing a unique passion through Spruce Society Giving.
• Establish your Donor Advised Fund reflecting your charitable vision for our community.
• Contribute to a specific granting fund such as the Substance Abuse Fund through the Grants section.
• Nourish the Foundation to allow continued growth through the Tomorrow Fund.

Giving to the Foundation is easy . . . Donations to the Foundation can be mailed to P.O. Box 3020, Montrose, CO  81402.  For your convenience, on-line donations are securely accepted through this site by using the “Donate Now” button on the left side of each page.  In rare instances, your credit card company may tack on an additional processing fee for this transaction.  To make a non-cash donation, contact the Foundation and we will accomodate your generosity.

With all donations, please let us know how you would like your gift applied.  We welcome the opportunity to share with you the various component funds, scholarship funds and legacy funds available.

“We began investigating local non-profit groups when we arrived in Montrose twelve years ago that had the mission to provide food, shelter, and clothing to those in need. This progressed into the desire to leave a legacy that would support these organizations in perpetuity. After discussions with MCF, it became clear to us that MCF provides the perfect vehicle to prudently manage a bequest from our IRA that would be used specifically for basic human needs with the flexibility and expertise to grant funds on an annual basis.
