The Forever Fund is comprised of the Montrose Community Foundation’s permanent endowment.  These funds are held in perpetuity to ensure positive growth in the community for generations to come.  The diversified portfolio is conservatively invested by an Investment Committee comprised of area professionals who have a high level of expertise in this field.  Following a board approved Investment Policy, current performance has exceeded that of the Vanguard Wellington Fund and other balanced mutual funds.

The income from these prudently invested funds are returned to the community through grants.  Although the value of the corpus has been reduced in the current economic evironment, income and dividends from the Forever Fund remain sufficient to continue investing in the community.
