Grants
At the heart of the Montrose Community Foundation is our granting program. This completes the cycle linking generosity with giving. Last year, grants totaling $18,000 through the competitive grant cycle were awarded to eleven organizations from earned income from the Forever Fund. To date, more than $250,000 has been directed into the hands of worthwhile community organizations to further their efforts in growing the Montrose Community.
The Montrose Community Foundation strives to award five percent of its endowment each year in grants to community organizations. Eighty percent of the grants are awarded through a competitive grant cycle with applications accepted prior to November 1. The remaining twenty percent of available granting monies are reserved to respond to immediate needs requests throughout the year.
Please review our guidelines for grants before submitting your request through the Common Grant Application available on this site.
