Montrose Rotary Club

For many years, the Montrose Rotary Club has generously funded scholarships annually to well-rounded individuals.  Two scholarships are set aside for this year’s graduates of Montrose County School District High Schools, one to a Olathe High School Graduate and another to a Montrose High School Graduate.  The additional scholarships are awarded to students who plan on, or are attending, the Montrose Campus of Colorado Mesa University or other regional vocational instituion.

The Foundation is pleased to announce that Bryce Gaber of Montrose High School and Zachary Cosper of Olathe High School are the 2011 recipients.  These recipients join many others including Dylan Markley in receiving scholarship assistance through the Rotary Scholarship Program.

The application deadline for the scholarships reserved for the Montrose County School District graduates is April 1.  Scholarships are payable in two installments for the fall and spring semesters for a total disbursement of $1250.

• The application deadline for students attending the Montrose Campus of Mesa State College is also April 1, 2012.
• Applicants are asked to include a letter of recommendation with their application.
